David asks…

Of the four major betting sports in North America (football, basketball, baseball, hockey)?

Which has the best chance for the bettor to win on pointspreads, O/U, and moneyline bets? Thanks for the input!

Chris answers:

Tough call, but I would say that football is probably the hardest with basketball behind it. The market for those two sports is quite efficient, thus resulting in pretty sharp numbers…however, I’m certainly not saying there isn’t any value to be found, but rather, they are a little more difficult to handicap.

I personally feel that both hockey and baseball are two of the more inefficient markets, particularly baseball. I’ve spoken with many sportsbook managers that they say they consistently get beat in both baseball and hockey just about every year (granted their handle is pretty small on those sports), but they have to offer it simply for business purposes. It’s very difficult for oddsmakers to set sharp moneylines for hockey and baseball (especially baseball because of the amount of games that are played everyday).

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Laura asks…

Can a football Coach or a Hockey coach legally bet on his own team to win?

What about against his own team?

Chris answers:

Yes
Against his own team, no.

George asks…

My friend and I made a bet on a hockey game. What should he have to do when his team loses ?

Not sexual, this is for something during school, and not too drastic.

Chris answers:

Go with brian mccaptain. That would be humiliating for him, and hilarious for you.

George asks…

seriously, i doubt anyone has an answer for this…?

Ok so right before school ended I started to have feelings for my friend that i have known for a very long time, she was showing some signals herself, like flirting with me and just wanting my attention alot. but at the time she “kinda” had a boyfriend, i asked her what she meant by that and she said “were just talking” so i made the plan to go on a date with her then after the date tell her the truth and how i feel about her. she said yes to the date but something came up and she was not able to go. now were in summer and now that guy is officialy her actual boyfriend. we still text each other because were good friends. This girl is amazing and perfect in my eyes so I plan to wait this out as long as it takes, my plan is to stay close to her until they brake up and then tell her the truth. so we finnaly made plans to go play basketball together this saturday, and also to play each other in the new mortal kombat game because we both think were better then each other. so we decided since were both so sure well win that we should turn it into a bet, she said she wont bet money but she for sure wants to make some sort of wager, so what should i bet? i was thinking betting that if i win (and i will because am a beast at that game) she has to make me dinner and vise versa. but would that be too much becuase were just friends right now and she has a boyfriend? whats a good bet idea? and any tips at all on how to get her to be mine eventually?

Chris answers:

No, its not weird. Thats an ok idea, if u wanna do it, just make it kinda like a joke if u win! Be like “HAHAHAHHAA, IN YO FACE GIRLY! Now… I would like… Hmmm… Some…. (whatever u want her to make u).” thats what i would tell me best guy friend or IF my best guy friend won, he would say that and i wouldnt think it was weird even if i had a boyfriend. Other bet ideas can be… Shoving a pepper up ur nose, sniffing pixie sticks, let u paint her face, let u write whatever u want on her hand, she has to go up to a random person and say whatever u want.. Just stupid things like that. And tips on how to get her?… Hmmm, well… If u tell her u like her now, she probably will say something like well, i already have a boyfriend but thats sweet AND she might think its more awkward hanging out with u. So i wud wait until they break up which is very likely bcuz thats what every1 is doing these days. Just be her friend rgt now, and be a sweetheart when she breaks up. Dont ask her right after they break up… Wait at least a few weeks so she can relax and know what she wants again. Then tell her u liked her for a while and ask her out. If it were me, id be touched that u havent tried to sabotage mine and my boyfriends relationship and waited for me to get over him that id say yes! Good luck! :)

Noooo! She has a bf atm. Wait until they break up then make your move. If your bet is dinner, the bf wont be happy bc he might actually really like the girl and if you do something like this it wont look good to the bf

Donna asks…

how do i become a better receiver(slot)?

i joined the football team, i dont know anyone but im trying to play it, i want to play slot receiver, and im new to playing it and i joined JV team (everyone makes it), im 15 weighting 150-160, 5’8-5’9 and i work out, im ok i guess and im not AGRESSIVE so i want to play to get aggressive and be good in basketball. i need tips because people talking sh*t, i see people saying WOW U MADE THE FOOTBALL TEAM, or what u play RB, you suck, and your bad at sports ? and i know im not starting because first year but i hope from Basketball, Gym, and football practice i will improve, but im sick of everyone call me a failure, and making bets that if i play they give them a million dollars…..

Chris answers:

Are you fast? Some bigger guys can be really fast, but if you aren’t its ok. You can be a possession reciever(meaning you don’t run as far, but help to get first downs). If you ARE fast, keep working at it! Get faster and you will hopefully be able to get more yards. Hope this helped. =)

when do college football betting lines come out?

Chris answers:

The earliest you’re probably going to find them posted at certain sites would be Sunday night into Monday morning.

Laura asks…

Where can i find a list of this years College Football Bowl games with the current betting lines???

Chris answers:

Betting on college sports is illegal. As such, i’ve just reported you to the FBI, CIA, and SS.

David asks…

How does the money line bet work when betting on football games?

On sports gambling sites what is the money line bet?

Chris answers:

No spread, just to win. The odds are usually listed referring to $100. So a favorite that says -450 means you need to bet $450 to win $100. The underdog might be +400, meaning bet $100 to win $400.

George asks…

What online sports betting site offers the best and fastest way to withdraw money from my account?

I am interested in starting an account online for sports betting. I want to be able to deposit money and withdraw money without many difficulties and was wondering what sites offer that

Chris answers:

It depends where you are located. If for example you are in the U.S. The law makes it illegal for banking institutions to be used for gambling purposes. Thus, if an online sportsbook does take U.S. Customers than the number of withdrawal options will be limited and in some cases, it may take a long time for you to receive your withdrawal.

Recently, many bookmakers that cater to U.S. Customers have had delays going as long as 3 months before a U.S customer could receive his withdrawal.

If you are located outside of the U.S., like in the U.K., Canada, Australia or other countries where it is legal to bet on sports online, most sportsbooks can get you your money in a fast and efficient manner.

Thus, sportsbooks that cater to the U.S. That have a good reputation are:

http://www.betjamaica.com

http://www.5dimes.com

http://www.betus.com – This one has mixed reviews but I have never had any problems with them and they offer large bonuses.

If you are located outside of the U.S. Here is a short list that I use:

http://www.xsbet.com

http://www.pinnaclesports.com

http://www.willhill.com

Best sports betting site and easiest way to deposit money?

So I just turned 18 yesterday and I would like to join a sports betting website. What’s the best sports betting site out there? What’s the easiest way for an 18 year old to deposit money on such a site since I do not have a credit card. I do however have a paypal account and a checking account.

Chris answers:

If you have a checking account and no credit card, then the best site for you is http://gamblingreviewssite.com/betED.php They are very reputable and accept eChecks that are instant and have zero fees. You can also get your payouts the same way, also with no fees. They are very easy to use and extremely reputable and safe. You will find a review of their site at http://GamblingReviewsSite.com Good luck!

William asks…

What is the legality of online sports betting?

For the average $20-$300 per bet bettor, living in the U.S. Texas or Oklahoma betting on sports online. The casinos are available, but can someone face legal trouble for placing a wager? Or is all the blame on the casino? A little insight into the laws and current effort being put into these issues by law enforcement would be appreciated.

Chris answers:

You wont face any trouble if you want to put in a sports bet online. Ive been betting sports for a little bit over 10 years and have honestly heard it all when it comes to the legality of sportsbetting. Ive never had a problem and neither will you. Good Luck

How can I make 300 seperate 8 team parlays in Las Vegas?

I am planning on visiting Las Vegas in a few weeks (again) and was curious of a few things that I don’t know about. Do the sportsbooks have parlay cards or something that I could fill out to place my bets ON BASEBALL? I’ve also heard about personal betting terminals, where you can place bets from your seat. On a particular Saturday, I would like to watch baseball from about 11am…til about 10pm. I would really like to bet the field with all kinds of long odds bets (like a solid 8 teamer). I was thinking about making something like 300 “8 team parlays.” I’m sure I could get it done with the parlay cards the night before…but I’m not sure they have them for baseball. How on earth could I make 300 bets in only a couple of hours??

Chris answers:

If you have the money they’ll take the bet. Minimum is usually $5 on sports bets. I’m not sure about parlays.

Carol asks…

What makes Baseball the most enjoyable Sport?

I have to tell you I spend a great deal of my life watching, reading stats, injury reports, box scores, etc. I for some reason enjoy BaseBall more than any sport- and even in contest where you have to pick winners against Vegas odds etc, like on http://www.CrazyDaddy.net , I win at a higher rate. I have won Vacations, Trips, Money, Contests, you name it.

What in your opinion makes baseball a more enjoyable Sport to concentrate your betting efforts on?

Chris answers:

The history of the game, statistics, the players that play the game, and most of all anyone can have their own opinion about most things involving this great game. Discussions and stories about the game will be passed on from generation to generation and that will fuel the interest of those fans to come that are not yet born. I also have to tell you that I love the game for what it is and never bet on games.

Ken asks…

MLB Baseball Runlines and Moneyline bets????????

I dont understand why they make the betting odds the way that they do.
For EXAMPLE-

one of the games today is Astros @ Braves.
Braves are favored pretty decently to win, so the Moneyline is Braves -150, Astros +130.
but then skip right over to the Runline and all of a sudden these Braves that are the favorite to win the game are UNDERDOG to win by MORE THAN 1,
as the Runline is Braves -1.5 and +140, Astros +1.5 and -160.

Why do they do this????
The Braves are a pretty big favorite to win, but only by ONE RUN????

The way I see it, if a team wins their game, there is a much larger chance that the winning point spread will be something OTHER THAN one run as opposed to EXACTLY one run.

I understand that the moneyline is playing it “safe”, because all they have to do is win, but why do they make the payout odds so vastly different? -150 and +140 is a HUMOUNGOUS difference for ONE run.

Explanation?
In an NFL bet comparison,
it would be like if the Broncos are playing @ the Patriots,
and the Patriots are favored to win the game straight up so the moneyline is -150.
So to compare how much they are changing the payout odds, it would like if they made the spread as Patriots -3 and then bumped that spread payout up to +120 or something.

[obviously the NFL isnt like this, but thats what it would be like if they changed it to the way baseball's odds are]

Obviously if the Patriots win they will MOST LIKELY win by 3 or more points.

BTW, just to note-
The Braves won 12-4 tonight.

Chris answers:

Good question guy. I’m not really into betting bases but I do understand that it really makes no sense to lay big money to just to win a couple bucks. Take for example Yankees -200 moneyline and Yankees -140 runline. I just see better value taking -1 1/2. Anyhow think about how many games are 1 run wins. I don’t know the stats but I would guess there are many 1 run wins. Also think about what happens in extra innings and in bottom of the 9th.
I guess only oddsmakers understand the science of betting moneylines and runlines. Why not check out a betting site like COVERS.com or another site to find a better explanation.

Maria asks…

would Edmonton trade Hall and Eberle for Evgeni Malkin straight up?

Malkins a great player, top 5 for sure. and Is seriously doubt hall and eberle will ever become as dominant as Malkin.

but as a pens fan, eberle and hall would give the pens so much more even spreaded scoring

eberle and crosby would be lethal along the boards and cycling the puck for offensive zone pressure galore.

and Hall and Staal together would be magical aswell.

again, outside of sid and malkin, mo one has any real elite level skill with the puck.

Kunitz – Crosby – Eberle

Hall – Staal – Tangradi

Cooke – Letestu – Bennet

would be a very balanced and top notch team heading into the playoffs.

remember Eberle is very clutch where ever he plays, team canada wjc and team canada world senior mens team in april, 1st teenager on there roster since jonathan toews back in 07.

and Taylor Hall, the 2010 1st overall pick. He is perhaps the most decorated playoff performer in Canadian Hockey League History.

2 time OHL PLAYOFF MVP AND 2 time Memorial Cup MVP (the only player to win the award twice, let alone back to back, before they were even drafted)

and despite canada losing to the u.s. at the world juniors, Hall still scored 2 goals and an assist in there loss, he scored 6 goals, 6 assists in 6 games.

infact similar draftee’s had nowhere near Hall’s level of production for Canada “BEFORE” being drafted, tavares had 4 goals, 1 assist in 8gms. Stamkos had 3 assists in 8 games, gagner 2 assists in 7 gm, Toews 4 goals in 7 games.

Halls pre-draft playoff production in junior is similar to Crosby’s and his world junior stats are even better.

Its what makes Hall so special, I Have absolutely no doubt that he is going to win a Conn Smythe Playoff MVP trophy when his career is said and done. EVEN if he only pans out to be nothing more than a 50 point player in the regular season. He just has a whole other extra gear he kicks into when the going gets tough, when the game means alot more, he’s a man possessed when a championship is on the line, nuff said. I like his potential. like Bob Mckenzie said “the canadian pavel bure”

not perhaps but rather, yes Hall is the most dominant playoff performer in CHL history, I have no trouble making that statement, he’s just too godd when it matters.

that being said of course, its all hypothetical whether there clutch performance would translate to nhl playoff success. I sure as heck wouldn’t bet against it though.

I know MALKIN is capable of that conn msythe “ilk” but man he just isnt the same player he was since 08.

largely do to the fact that he plays with the worst possible linemates every year and a coach who can’t use his best asset properly on the powerplay. that laser shot from the half walls of course.

both Crosby and Malkin suffer from having mad linemates because of there massive salaries (worth it though)

I just think both would be happy being “the man” on there team and having elite wingers to play with.

Hemsky – Malkin – Penner

Lander – Paajarvi – Pitlick

Hall – Crosby – Kunitz

Eberle – Staal – Tangradi

Malkin is obviously the best player in this deal, no question.
to the dynasty, a new chapter.

ARE YOU THAT FUCKING STUPID? I MEANT ON THE PENGUINS ROSTER, DON’T FUCKING PLAY DUMB WITH ME JUST BECAUSE YOUR TEAM GOT AN.AL F.UC.KED HARD BY THE PENS IN THE 09 PLAYOFFS, LOL, YOU F.U.CKING LOSER.
THE NEW DYNASTY CHAPTER, AWWWWWW WHATS THE MATTER, DID IT HURT TO LOSE 4 OF THE LAST 5 GAMES IN THE 09 PLAYOFFS AFTER WINNING THE FIRST 2? AWWW POOR, POOR LITTLE BABY, BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME YOU FAG.GOT.
Its pretty obvious you a very uneducated person.

your throwing blanket statements out that are not even remotely close to what I have asked.

you assumed I was saying no other team has good players outside of pittsburgh.

I doubt you wer ebeing sarcastic, your use of words make you sound very uninformed, bitter and way off base of the topic at hand.

If you came here just to stir $hit up than it shows your age, more importantly, your maturity level.

never assume, you tend to make an a$$ out of your self, sarcasm or no sarcasm. Your simply put. A bitter moron.

Chris answers:

I’d say Hall + Eberle or MPS and Souray for Malkin would be intriguing for both side. Hall and Crosby would have some real chemistry and Staal (if healthy) could be a more than sufficient second line cay going back to center. Souray going to the pens would get him off Edmonton’s hands and he’d be asset to the Pens power play. Malkin woulld instantly become the face of the franchise and likely the team’s best forward since Messier. The big question is would Pittsburgh want to move Malkin? He’s as good a player as there is in the league, but I have feeling either him or Staal would become expendable a if quality winger(s) to complement Sid becomes availible.

Sandy asks…

Can someone answer this over killed question- does he like me- im desperate here?

Do you think that he has a crush on me? I play on a all guys hockey team and here are the things he does: He defends me when a guy knocks me down and kinda gets into a minni fight, calls me “my girl”, has a nickname for me, always cheers me on( even if its a team practice scrimmage thing and hes on the opposite team), pair up with me for drills and wants to be in the same line as me during the games and other stuff. I dnt know if hes doing this b/c he feels bad for me cuz im kinda shy and im the only girl or if bets r going on between the other guys, but if you have any suggestions on how to handle this or if you feel he likes me so yea im desperate b/c im falling for him. plz help- im really desperate!! I hope that i dnt just jinx myself
can anymore people answer this question. Maybe some guys?

Chris answers:

It looks like you have a class act flirt on your hands. In other words, he more likely than not likes you!!! But it sounds like he’s waiting for you to make a move. I would wait til your alone just in case he’s embarrased in front of his friends, and ask him out or at least talk to him…be flirty back and see how he reacts.
Hope this helps!

Donald asks…

How many 100 point scorers will there be this year?

the big 3 obviously, but I like to think that Ryan Getzlaf will break the mark this up coming season.

top 5 best bets are

Getzlaf who has to 35 goal wingers to work with, 34 goals and 73 assists is not impossible for this 24 year old monster
Spezza (could’ve had 3 already if those pesky injuries stayed away)
Staal (hit the mark at age 21)
Semen ( was on pace for 104 points last season, leading scorer for a bit)
Vinny Lecavalier ( averaged 100 a season 2 seasons before last years where they had no offensive d-men to rush the puck up, had a broken wrist and a dislocated shoulder which from all reports healed up nicely over the summer, so I expect Stammer, St. Louis and Lecavalier to break out again next season, especially Stamkos)
Ilya Kovalchuk could break the mark if he learns to pass more often.
And who could forget Joe thornton, the guy who had 240 points in 2 seasons just a couple of years ago, thats a 120 point a season average, he could still break it if Setoguchi keeps progressing well.
Datsuck too, who has back to back 97 point seasons.

In reality there is only about 4 or 5 a year so injuries will play a factor in that, and poor linemates such as Staal who hasnt had legit 1st line wingers since his 100 point season.

My Darkhorses are Zach Parise, Jeff Carter, Marian Hossa, Nicklas Backstrom, Heatley and Alfredsson (alfy because maybe he’ll benefit from Heatley and Spezza breaking out again, besides he has hit it before.

Talent to score 100 in a season but are either to young or just not quite enough endurance are, or perhaps not enough secondary scorin or not enough offensive defensman to help rush the puck up the ice as a result have to work twice as hard for instance like the T-Bay Lightning.

Anze Kopitar, Jonathan Toews, Paul Stastny, Gaborik, Patrick Kane, Steve Stamkos, John Tavares, David Krejci, Mike Richards ( I feel Richards could score 35 goals, 65 assists, but his willingness to play defense almost all the time will hinder what he is really capable of, He’ll be a 90 point selke winner in his prime, I’d rather it be that way than being a no defense 100 player like Semin, if he reaches it)

The top 5 players who have the talent and hockey sense but lack the speed that they used to have or just dont have to reach 100 are:

Teemu Selanne
Alex Kovalev
Paul Kariya
Nylander
Brad Boyes ( this guy is absolutely horrible on his skates but has the wrist and slap shot of a 50 goal scorer, and the passing abilities to run a powerplay, he is just a plain gawd awful skater)

Predicted top 5 scorers next season are:

Sidney Crosby: 124 points, 37 goals, 87 assists
Evgeni Malkin: 117 points, 44 goals, 73 assists
Ovechkin: 111 points, 58 goals, 53 assists
Ryan Getzlaf: 107 points, 34 goals, 73 assists
Spezza finally plays a full 82 games schedule in his career and
scores about 35 goals and 70 assists, was on pace to be an assist per game player two season in a row, so 70 assists is being generous, he has no trouble scoring 33-35 goals now also, so yeah I think Spezza who is alot older now is primed for a Lecavalier/Hossa like breakout season, we all know he has the talent and stats to reach it, its his Health that needs to stay intact.

Chris answers:

Very well written.
Sid the Kid, Geno, and Ovie will all obviously hit 100 and beyond/

and THANK YOU for mentioning the big 3 of ottawa. They are all capable of reaching 100 plateau easily. Just two years ago, they were all in the top 15, and would have reached 90+, even 100+ if they wernet plagued with injuries. And despite heatley wanting to move, shall he stay in ottawa, he will play GREAT. He will have his eyes locked on making Team Canada , and will try to improve all of his aspects, and will try hard to play well. If that happens, the CASH line shall flow, and spez, alfie and heater should all reach loads of points.

Other players that are clearly capable are datsyuk, but i kind of have doubts as to him reaching it for some reason. But he clearly has what it takes to reach it.
Kovalchuk, especially if he plays like he did for the second half of the season,
thornton, despite a dissapointing season last year,
Vinny Lecavalier, and St.louis are both capable, especially seeing that their PP will be improven significantly with meszaros and hedman on the blue.
Ryan getzlaf looks good to reach it, especially if ryan and perry both play really well.
And also semin and backstrom, especially seeing they play with ovie.
Adn as for the younglings, i completely agree. All of them CAN make it, its just that they wont reach it thisseason.

How does horse betting work? I heard you can make 2k with just 10 cents?

in basketball and football your going to put a good amount of money to make that kind of money!!!!
I am assuming it’s because the odds in horse racing are greater

Chris answers:

That’s true. There is a 10 cent superfecta in horse racing ( not all tracks offer it ) The superfecta is when you pick the exact order of the first 4 finishers. A few years ago at Keeneland a $1 superfecta paid over $300,000.00. The 10 cent super paid 1/10th of that for a little over 30,000.00. I play them all the time. I usually will have anywhere from 2 to 5 dollars worth of combinations on a race ( that’s 20 -50 10 cent bets ) The highest I’ve hit so far was $484.00. Sometimes I’ll play a bunch of longshot combos, it’s not that much of a risk if you lose.

William asks…

How do bookies/bookmakers change odds?

When bookies make their book for example college basketball, and the bookie has all the bets on one team and none on the other and he changes his odds to +4,-4, from +2, -2, wouldn’t he lose all the money in the book if the score was 80-83?
Thanks.

Chris answers:

Yes, if they move the line too much they can get screwed and lose a lot.

Vegas often refers to “Black Sunday”, Pitt-Dallas superbowl, where the line started at Pitt – 3 1/2, and as people bet on Pitt, the line moved up to Pitt – 4 1/2, so people started betting Dallas. Pitt won by 4, Vegas lost a bit there.

That’s why they call it gambling.

George asks…

Can you give me your opinion on this part of the story I wrote?

I want to be somebody else.

Chapter 1.
I don’t want to be myself. Why would I? Why would an ugly, 15 year old High School girl want to be herself. I bet you can’t think of any reason either. I don’t blame you. I have the lowest self esteem in the world, but hey, when you walk in the school’s halls, seeing the preppy, high self-esteem cheerleaders, walking as if they had just won the lottery, flirting with those cute, football player senior boys, it’s quite difficult not to envy them. They look like they have everything. Tons of friends, always incredibly dressed with the latest trends, beautiful make-up and hot boyfriends. And me, here I am, sitting there, looking at them. I have always been way too shy to approach guys, or even talk to them. All I have is one single friend.

Thanks!
I SAID THIS PART OF THE STORY NOT THE WHOLE STORY. DIDNT YOU READ THE QUESTION???

Chris answers:

Very good. It read nicely. The only thing I got caught up on was one of the last lines where you say “here I am….sitting there”….The here and there don’t really flow like the rest of your paragraph.

As far as content ….very very nice…about a 8 out of 10 from me. Maybe add a line or two contrasting what the preppy girls are saying to themselves (ie their self-talk) and contrast it to your self-talk..something like….. They say: “Wow! It feels so good to have everybody looking at me!” You’d say: “Wow! I hope nobody sees me…what am I saying? Nobody notices me anyway.”

The last line “All I have is one single friend” doesn’t really fit… Maybe if you add, “Well, at least I have one friend I can count on.”

Very good….were you inside my head when I was in high school?

Oh…and you probably already know this but be sure somebody checks for proper grammar. I think high school should not be in caps.

Try replacing your text with this: ….always dressed incredibly well with the latest trends……

And…perhaps…….it’s quite difficult to not envy them…..

Replace with this: “they look like they have everything” And just say “they have everything!”

Replace with this: And me. With And then there is me! Here I am. Just sitting, waiting for a miracle, watching.

Keep up the good work…hope you understand my tips….you are a great writter….keep it up!

I’d pretty much bet on your life (Win-win ;) that it was for Baines… I like Baines and think he’d be an ideal replacement for Clichy (I’d say it’s likely he’ll leave this Summer… not for 5 million though. If Liverpool are overpaying for Homegrown players, Clichy is also Homegrown, then they’d have to overpay for him as well judging by their recent trend…)

Baines is the best attacking LB in the League… Clichy is the best defensively… and Enrique is the jack of all trades, master of none… Cole isn’t the player he used to be and Evra is entering the twilight of his career now… so it’s between them 3…

Though, converting Vermaelen to LB seems Wenger-ish… I don’t want Cahill really. Prefer to bring in Baines (If Clichy is sold) and stick with Samba-Vermaelen in CB… seems like a brilliant partnership… especially if Djourou and Koscielny are covering… that kind of cover is excellent, in my opinion… contrary to what most think, apart from a couple of prolific c0ck ups, I think Koscielny has had a brilliant first Season in English Football… single-handedly manned the barricades against Barca… and Djourou was immense until the last few games of the Season… which is understandable, the lad was knackered… Djourou-Koscielny have a brilliant partnership as well and both have the potential to get better…

Chris answers:

I do not think we will get both Cahill and Samba, Samba is cheaper and better. I would not agree in saying that Cahill is over rated as he has a lot of strong points.

Surely Wenger knows that Vermaelen isn’t a left back, he is our best defender, even if we do sign Samba. I would still also have faith Kos and Djourou like you said, Djourou however does lose concentration and although he looks like a comanding defender he still seems like a little kid.

Now getting on the Leighton Baines, i believe he was one of the best players last season, he has got more assists and goals combined over the last 2 seasons than Bale has got in his whole career at Spurs. Which is pretty impressive for a full back. I think he is very much an Arsenal full back and his crossing could really help Chamakh get more goals, now we have two good crossers on both sides.

Also he is good from set pieces which means we won’t have to send RVP to take them, he isn’t the best header of a ball i have seen but he is decent and with Baines’ delivery he may get more goals with his head or at least it would be something to practice on.

As for Clichy, in the 07-08 season he was the best left back in the premier league if not the world for that season, he was absolutely immense, but i do not think Wenger wants to rely on him anymore, he is always caught napping and playing people on side. It would be a shame to lose our last memeber of our invincables, even though he only played a few games.

Why do Pro Basketball players, Baseball players, and Football players, shave their arms these days?

Hell even Brett Michaels Shaves his arms and other rock stars hell I bet even video gamers Shave their arms, Is this A Big trend?

Chris answers:

Yes, unfortunately manscaping has gone overboard, they probably think it will help aerodynamically, but in basketball they wear those super baggy shorts, anything but aerodynamic. It probably started with pro wrestlers, they all shave.

Webstite For Sports Betting Advice And Tips?

Does anyone know a website that I could go on that has advice and tips about betting on football (soccer) matches? I’m from England so I need one that particular relates to European football. Most weekends I want to place bets and I always try searching endlessly for websites that have top gamblers and their advice. Because obviously you’re going to listen to someone who does gambling for a living as they are more like to be right if they’re risking hundreds and even thousands of pounds on a regular basis…
